Divergent: Week 1 (Preview)

The Beginning
What It Means To Be DIFFERENT
Everyone has something different about them. Whether it's music, sports, or classes. Your friends have it too! You may like hip hop and your friend likes pop music. That's a sort of different feature you two have. Divergent basically means different. In life, it means unique!
I talk about my best friend, Indigo a lot on my blog. In my daily life, we do it as well. The two of us share different things. Our friendship to me is really unlike from regular friendships I see. Yes we may learn different things about each other, but I love our friendship. I'm glad I met her because she has lead me through lots of things in my life that I probably wouldn't of done of I never met her. I love her very much!
A lot of people call me a "good weird", which to this day I still don't know what it means. I'm glad my friends accept me....... STAY TUNED FOR THE FULL EFFECT!

Should Kids Work Out?

On Monday, my friend Jada (also has a blog) was talking about how she was working out this weekend. All the girls at the lunch table laughed. We laughed because she was really skinny and well.
Then she started to do that thing with your arms to show your muscles. All of a sudden, everyone started showing their muscles, including me and my bestie, Indigo. Then I thought to myself, should kids my age be working out?
I know our parents say we should go outside and run around, but when I mean workout, I mean like have weights and run on a treadmill. I have weights, but it's only 3 pounds heavy. There are other ways to workout for kids my age like:

Sports
Dance
Jogging
Gym (at school or after school hours)
Gymnastics
Walking with your dog(s)

There are plenty of ways to workout with using these equipment that our parents use when they go to the gym.
