Special Friends

    This is a special post for two friends I deeply love and adore. Indigo and Arielle.
Ever since I met Indigo, she has been a loyal friend. Believe me, she is awesome to hang out with. She has a sense of style, she's smart, funny, talented, sweet and etc. Even when I got diabetes, she was still around. We share the same taste and sometime we don't. She's like my sister from another mister. So Indigo, if you're reading this now, I want you to know that you are special to me.

     I met Arielle in February 2012. We were waiting for the bus to go coming home from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Her mom, Cynthia overheard a conversation with my mom, grandmas, and aunts. She didn't mean to barge, but as wonderful as my family is, they said she can join in. I saw Arielle looking glum and asked her, "What's your name?' She replied, "I'm Arielle." So, we went on and on. I found out she had diabetes, too! We had the same pump and almost the same meter. It was so fun to meet her. We sat on the bus together all the way home. My family found out she was from Panama as well. Now we have been friends ever since. Ari, if you see this, just know, I love you!
